Here I am, typing about my needlepointing as usual. My horse project needs a certain color. I had that color, but the material of the yarn was not wool. It was cotton. I tried to use it as it was at first. Well, that did not work well at all. When I realized I had to make the yarn thinner, I tried it and it worked. Oh boy, you just have no idea how relieved I am! Now the horse picture has hope again.

Okay, some of you may ask "What happened to that sailing ship canvas?" No panic, dear readers. It is safe and sound. How does it look like? Here it is...you can look at it. My Finnish readers surely remember it, but my English readers...they may not have even seen it. But now you should be able to see what I stitched after that kitten.

Here I am, typing about my needlepointing as usual, and now I am in trouble. Why? One male friend of mine...I saw the ring in his finger just a moment ago!!!! That means he is engaged! I promised myself more than him that I will stitch a present for the day he will say the famous words. I do not know when that day will come, but I must move my needle really fast, so I will get the present done before the big day. The worsening fact is that I have a knitting fever right now! But I know I have to stitch it..I promised. "Pacta sunt servanda", said one of my law school's teachers. That means one mus keep what one promises, and I have promised to stitch that gift...so I will stitch it. I hope I will get it done on time.

Hello dear readers,

Here I am, typing about my needlepointing as usual. The Olympic games are on, and I have watched them and stitched away. My current active stitching WIP is called simply "A Kitten". Why? Because that is what the picture is - a kitten. A cute kitten, I dare to say. I have not taken a photo of the canvas yet, but I will do it in the future.

It's strange...watching the sports...they make me feel like I want to stitch. The same thing was when the hockey championships were going on. I stitched like a madwoman. I listened the happenings on ice and let my eyes see where I should put my needle next. And that canvas got finished and found a new home. This kitten canvas will certainly find a new home too. I already know where the new home will be. But there will be many stitches to stitch before that.

Here I am, typing about my needlepointing as usual. The violet canvas found home, and I am glad about that. And the receiver was very much surprised. And that delighted me, I dare to say that.

But what's my current project? Well....the sailing ship canvas is still an UFO...but I could describe it as an active car project. What do I mean? It is in a bag in my car, and if I must go somewhere or wait for someone...I just take it and stitch. Every stitch is a little victory, because it is one stitch more towards the goal - the day when the sailing ship canvas is a FO.

But what about that tight deadline? It is 2 weeks from today. And the canvas I'm going to make looks like this.

Yeah...and then I have seen that some blogkeepers have asked "who's your favourite designer?" Well, to be honest...there's no such as an absolute favourite designer in my case. But there are few designers I like. Vervaco, Margot and collection d'art. And how do I choose what to stitch? Well, it is not up to the designer. It is more up to the canvas itself and subject.

Here I am, typing about my needlepointing as usual. I have one FO to show you. Just look at this.

But then there is something to worry too. This picture, which you hopefully can see, I have started in March, on 8th day. It should be done on June 20th. Let's hope I will make it.

And then there is another one to worry about. And here is the picture of it. I hope you can see it. This one should be ready on June 21st. Let's hope I will make it happen too. The ship one worries me more. It is bigger than this rose one. But even this rose one has taken me whole day to stitch. I thought this would be easy, because it's such a small thing. But it's obvious this one takes time too.

If you only knew how nervous and worried I am! I would love to see these both as FO's in a few weeks...and now I afraid only one of these will be done.

Here I am, typing about my needlepointing as usual. My life has been a bit strange lately. You see, this upper picture is how the pansy one looks like now. And..I have to keep a break. Why? Because some of the yarns are missing. I mean...I do not have them. So while I am waiting for the missing yarns to arrive, I stitch this, the canvas you see when you look at the lower picture. Can any of you tell me the name of the flowers of the lower picture? And suddenly...my inspiration...is fading away. But it is still there though...I think I should change the object of my interest. Here I am again. The project I call as "Roses" or "Yellow Roses" has found its way to the new home, and the owner likes it. I am soooo happy!!! My current WIP is called as "The Fireworks of My Heart". It is pretty. But I made one stupid decision. I chose a cotton yarn to stitch the border with. And that is the main reason I am struggling with it. Oh well..there is no much left anymore, and then I can let it go to the new home.

Here I am again. My "Roses" - project is going well. The "Yellow Roses" will get a new home soon, but more than that I am not going to say. New home means it has left the house already and went to a lady who will put the final touch in...and keeps the pillow (she told me that is the thing she is going to make) untill the right day comes.
