Stitching keeps going - and scanner is back

Hi, dear readers!
Here I sit again, talking about my needlepoint projects as usual. Finally my printing and scanning device (they are in the same device) is back! I have been worried sick, but now it works. It just needs to be done in different way than before. But stitching keeps going.
I can show you one picture, but it is not complete. It is partial.

There are two horses in the picture, but the whole picture is way too big to fit in my scanner, so this is only a partial picture.
I have another huge picture too. The time will tell if I scan it too. It does not matter if the new owner sees that. She has already seen it. But that horse picture's new owner has not seen it yet. I hope he does not peek.

New WIP

Hi, dear readers!
Here I sit again, talking about my needlepoint projects as usual. The flower bouquet got its' last stitch. Soon it will face the local Framing Man, who does what he has to do to get that bouquet framed. But I have a new WIP. I am sure you want to see it. I've stitched this today like a storm.

That is how it looked like a moment ago.
And this is how it looks like now.

I hope I'll get the stitching done soon. Then I must send it right away to the new home without framing. I hope the target person and her family are able to decide what to do.

A little break from The Swans and another WIP

Hi, dear readers!
Here I sit again, talking about my needlepoint projects as usual. I've been stitching up a storm. I haven't forgotten The Swans. There's this thing called confetti, that makes me crazy! That's why I need a break. And where did I learn that word? From the net, of course. It means...well, those of you, who have seen The Swans, you know what confetti means. It may be it's not used about needlepoint canvases, but I've heard the "real" cross stitch people use it a lot.
And how does this smaller project look like?
Well, it looks like this.

They left with Postman Pat

Hi, dear readers!
Here I sit again, talking about my needlepoint projects as usual. A few days ago I heard, that the trustworthy framing man had framed the pictures I had sent him. I picked them up today and sent them to their forever homes. Well, one of them...I just took it into one certain mail box. I sure hope she will find it soon and checks the tag I attached. The tag tells her, who the future owner of the picture really is. Poor framing man is in trouble with me, but I must keep stitching. Soon he must frame a big picture. But that is another story. I hope that canvas will get a nice frame too, even I think he may have a little difficulties to choose the color of the frame. But every time he has chosen just the right color. I believe he will do the same with that big picture. If my math is right, I must stitch 4 more pictures and send 1 more picture, but the one I send...it is not going to the framer man. It will travel to a friend of mine, who will live quite far away from here. She knows what to do with it, I am sure about that.

I am glad it's Olympic Games' time!

Hi, dear readers!
Here I sit again, talking about my needlepoint projects as usual. Why do I say that? Well, it helps me to stitch the project I showed you earlier. The picture is big and there are many colors, so it won't get done, if I don't keep the needle moving. The Olympic Games help a lot! I can just listen what happens in Sochi, and look at my project. I follow the Sochi through my ears and my stitching through my eyes.

At least something to show you all

Hi, dear readers!
Here I sit again, talking about my needlepoint projects as usual.I don't know, what I am going to do with this. I had this plan, that this would have been a wedding present or an anniversary present, but now I don't know anymore. But I am going to make this a FO and find it a home. Where is the home? I don't know, but I have a feeling I'll find it as I go along.

Framing time again

Hi, dear readers!
Here I sit again, talking about my needlepoint projects as usual. I took yet another project to my trustworthy framer today. He knows, what to do with it. It's exciting to see, what kind of frame he chooses to each project. I admit, maybe I am a bit hooked to that, but stitching gives me an equal pleasure, not to mention surprising the target person with the finished project. My theme seems to have been floral theme in these days, but usually people everywhere understand it.

It works after all!

Hello dear readers,

Here I am, typing about my needlepointing as usual. My horse project needs a certain color. I had that color, but the material of the yarn was not wool. It was cotton. I tried to use it as it was at first. Well, that did not work well at all. When I realized I had to make the yarn thinner, I tried it and it worked. Oh boy, you just have no idea how relieved I am! Now the horse picture has hope again.

Pondering

Hello dear readers,

Here I am, typing about my needlepointing as usual. I have read some needlepoint sites. I have found out the gros point aka big stitch, if I translate it right, is the one I make. I also think I stitch over two. I am not sure, but if one thinks of my stitcing logic, that's how it is.
