Wedding present

Hi, dear readers!
Here I sit again, talking about my needlepoint projects as usual. I am not going to say "I do!", but a friend of mine is going to say that. And she is going to say it soon. So soon, that my present won't make it before that day. But I hope I will get the present done before the first anniversary. I want them to know I am happy for them.

A long list of projects

Hi, dear readers!
Here I sit again, talking about my needlepoint projects as usual. I have a long list of projects to stitch, and I hope I will get them stitched. Right now my main headache is one woman's wedding present, or actually first wedding anniversary day's present. It is almost a FO, but not quite yet.
"Why don't you describe it for us?" you may ask.
Because it would ruin the surprise. I want the couple to be surprised. I don't know, if they read this or not. I am used to being careful, so I rather not show you, not a little peek. Someone may put two and two together and tell them. I can't take that risk. But once my part is done, I will take it to my local Framing Man. He knows what to do, once my part is done.

Hi, dear readers!
Here I sit again, talking about my needlepoint projects as usual. You may wonder, how it is going with the swans. I can show you, how it is going with them. Oh, and don't be alarmed by that black thing in the corner. It's just my foot. It keeps the curling corner straight. The curling happens because of the stitch I use. It has happened in every canvas I've stitched. I know from experience that soon the opposite corners will curl so much no one can get anything out of this picture before The Framing Man steps in, so I decided I'll show you this as often as I can before that.

Hi, dear readers!
Here I sit again, talking about my needlepoint projects as usual. A few days ago I heard, that the trustworthy framing man had framed the pictures I had sent him. I picked them up today and sent them to their forever homes. Well, one of them...I just took it into one certain mail box. I sure hope she will find it soon and checks the tag I attached. The tag tells her, who the future owner of the picture really is. Poor framing man is in trouble with me, but I must keep stitching. Soon he must frame a big picture. But that is another story. I hope that canvas will get a nice frame too, even I think he may have a little difficulties to choose the color of the frame. But every time he has chosen just the right color. I believe he will do the same with that big picture. If my math is right, I must stitch 4 more pictures and send 1 more picture, but the one I send...it is not going to the framer man. It will travel to a friend of mine, who will live quite far away from here. She knows what to do with it, I am sure about that.

I had this plan, that this would have been a wedding present or an anniversary present, but now I don't know anymore. But I am going to make this a FO and find it a home. Where is the home? Hello dear readers,

Here I am, typing about my needlepointing as usual. I have not written much, but I am OK and needlepoint canvases are very much along in the pictures. Okay, some of you may ask "What happened to that sailing ship canvas?" No panic, dear readers. It is safe and sound. How does it look like? Here it is...you can look at it. My Finnish readers surely remember it, but my English readers...they may not have even seen it. But now you should be able to see what I stitched after that kitten.

If you want to see that wedding present, there should be a picture of that one too. Sorry about the bad quality, though. I am not the best photographer.

Oh no, I will be super busy!

Hello dear readers,

Here I am, typing about my needlepointing as usual, and now I am in trouble. Why? One male friend of mine...I saw the ring in his finger just a moment ago!!!! That means he is engaged! I promised myself more than him that I will stitch a present for the day he will say the famous words. I do not know when that day will come, but I must move my needle really fast, so I will get the present done before the big day. The worsening fact is that I have a knitting fever right now! But I know I have to stitch it..I promised. "Pacta sunt servanda", said one of my law school's teachers. That means one mus keep what one promises, and I have promised to stitch that gift...so I will stitch it. I hope I will get it done on time.
